  4. 3:49:40

I love all the work Sam & Liam and everyone else put into their characters this episode…

…But as a someone who came here straight from C1 freakin LOVE this kinda sh*t the most!!! 🤣🤣

  5. 1:56:35 this is my first time watching this season. What was it that Laura said about rice grains? I can’t seem to make it out. I understand this has been out for a while and no one might see this. It’s just something that is bugging me.

  6. Apparently none of them have read Homeland…. When he said blessed second born Caleb should have known the Dark Elf was a prince! Little tidbits of worldbuilding Matt has in there that they never even realize!

  7. Marisha and Taelisin going after Sam was some serious real life gaslighting. Yes its true Nott was attempting to steal things in order to flesh out his character of Nott and mainly the relationship with Caleb by retrieving the letter of recommendation. However Molly and Beau crossed the line when they just started viciously and aggressively tearing down Sam as a person and an actor for his decisions on where he took his character also bouncing around points playing a weak moral high ground, when they have also stolen many things on their own and have not revealed all information to the group about themselves either. Molly being the most shady of the bunch and the least fleshed out, and Beau stealing the mailbox, being a very rude person to just about every npc as well as bullying npcs and her own teammates, jumping out of her chair giving long winded speeches about moral behavior and what is the right way to behave as a team member, while simultaneously threatening at every moment she could, after every point of potential agreement. When ending with a threat, its just a form of intimidation and feeling herself. She made her character look shallow and unbecoming not heroic. At the same time Sam made himself look courageous, well spoken and reasonable considering the attack. You knew the whole thing was real when Nott was having a private conversation with Caleb and Marish or Beau (I say BOTH) jumped out of their chair, lost composure and started screaming over their moment. Im sure they are good friends and a big part of it is getting invested into your character with a method like approach to the acting but the fact was, Sam was being bullied and he as well as Nott grew as characters and displayed true character to the audience.

  8. I really love that we get to see a party that doesn’t know each other’s mysterious backstories- by the time the stream started for Vox Machina they knew each other pretty well and even interacted with each other’s family members. At this point, we know basically nothing about most of these characters except that theyre all pretty sketchy- and I love that because that’s how most parties are when they form

  9. I know this campaign is old but damn the group accusations against Caleb and nott made me start screaming swear words at the screen. I need to go watch something else to go calm down so I don't reach through and strangle this group of yahoos.
Like…..Jesus. Bo and Molly need to fucking look at themselves first before coming after the two people who have clearly had some trauma responses through the last adventures. Alright, imma go cool off.

Aaaaaannnnnnnddd. The rest of the conversation between Nott and Caleb made me cry. God.

  12. Recycling stolen timestamps because I can't be bothered scrolling, go like someone else's post who actually bothered to look for these unlike the senseless thief that is me. Also spoilers:

  13. It's years later and this still feels really uncomfortable to listen to. I'm really uncomfortable listening on each other the way they did and it oozes hypocrisy. (This isn't a slight on the players, but it's really uncomfortable to watch). I love the role playing, but the reaction of the party to Caleb wanting to take something of value despite Jester literally leaving evidence behind tied specifically to her is just ludicrous hypocrisy. Threatening to kill Caleb and leave a bloody corpse behind in an effort to leave less evidence behind again is ludicrously lacking in logic. Perhaps worst of all, the attitude of "we don't have to prove ourselves to you, you just have to do what we say" is a layer of gaslighting and cruel that is so beyond fucked up. Fjord physically bullied another party member to win an argument. Also note, taking the scrolls literally had no effect on how things played out and it was an insane assumption that everything else they did wrong was somehow going to fly under the radar but securing the obviously valuable item to Caleb was a deal breaker.

Travis is my favorite player but I am having trouble drawing a line between the player and the character when he decided to do that.

This was really gross and the worst I've felt watching an episode since Tiberius left.
